Destination Panama City, Panama City’s official marketing organization, took a proactive approach to USA Today’s search for the best seasonal offerings made of pumpkin. Their enthusiastic approach paid off. USA Today decided to include two of their suggestions in its feature article, which focused on the 100 best pumpkin-based foods in the United States.
The CEO of Destination Panama City, Jennifer Vigil, called it “a really good day,” stating that even having one restaurant chosen for the distinction would have thrilled her. The fact that the internationally distributed daily newspaper included two restaurants from the area felt “fabulous,” she said.
